Hi, I'm Jordan.

To the person I was yesterday, thank you. The work you’ve done on yourself for so long has made today better. Really, thank you for that. Life is much more enjoyable now. You didn’t run from the fear. You faced it. Our life is one I am grateful to call our own.

To the person I was yesterday, it’s okay to slow down. Think of your life as two dots on a piece of paper separated by only three inches. The left is the day you were born. The right is the day you will die. Each day is one step from left to right. What’s the rush? Slow down. Enjoy it.

To the person I was yesterday, you aren’t confused. You just don’t like the answer. Life doesn’t always offer a buffet of options. Sometimes it’s a choice between two evils. When you find yourself in these moments, choose the lesser and get on with your life. Stop wasting your time acting like you don’t know what to do.

To the person I was yesterday, maybe life isn’t about wanting more. Maybe it’s about reaching that beautiful state of not wanting at all. Maybe it’s time to end the attempts to improve these precious moments. They are already complete. Allow yourself to experience its completeness.

To the person I’ll be tomorrow, you will never come. You are a figment of my imagination. I’ve never experienced you and never will. I do not live for you.

I am here.

Now.

Forever.
