Hi, I'm Jordan.

Welcome to "Freed Flow." This is where I'll showcase recent newsletter articles and writings.

Years ago, before I was the Operations Coach for Freed, back when I was just a client, I went to a mastermind with a group of powerhouse women. During one of the sessions, Jordan led us through an exercise called Letters of Legacy.

The idea was simple but powerful: write a letter to someone you love. Tell them what you love about them, how they’ve shaped your life, and what wisdom you’d want to pass on.

I chose my goddaughters. I started answering the prompts, and then I got to this one:

“The greatest lessons life gave me were…”

I paused for a second. Then I wrote:

Buy the damn plane ticket.

That one sentence has become my personal motto. It’s the advice I give most often and most freely.

Buy the damn plane ticket.

Say yes to the adventure.

Take the trip.

Do the thing.

Have the experience.

You can always make more money. You cannot get more time.

We’ve all known someone who left too soon. We know how fragile this life is—and yet, we live like we have endless time to get to the things that matter. But we don’t.

There is no badge of honor for working yourself into the ground without a break. No prize for pushing your “dream trip” off another year. No trophy for keeping your “someday” plans stuck on the shelf.

So if you want to:

  • Travel the world? Do it.
  • Climb the mountain? Do it.
  • Jump out of the plane? Do it.
  • Move across the country? Do it.
  • Book the flight to visit friends? Do it.

The truth is: we only get the dash—the time between when we’re born and when we die.

Tomorrow is hoped for, not promised.

So let’s live today like we mean it.
